The Body Music "Città di Trento"

Body Musicale "Città di Trento" boasts the longest history among the bands of Trentino. Founded in 1801 is directed by a young teacher Michele Cont The new President is Oscar Bertamini. The body is enriched with new musical instruments and musicians. The presence of young musicians, together with other longer-experience is the distinguishing feature of the whole band. Even the repertoire is renewed and integrated symphonic pieces.

For this agreement, the Body Music "CITTA 'di Trento", free of charge and in a spirit of liberality, formally assumes the commitment to cooperate with the Telethon fund-raising activities to finance the medical and scientific research.

Trentino Telethon June 6-7, 2009

Telethon returns to the streets starting with those in Trentino.

We are a group of volunteers assembled by the Telethon Foundation ONLUS in a recently established Provincial Coordination.

Our mission is to Telethon:

- We want to advance research towards the cure of muscular dystrophy and other genetic diseases.

- We want to give priority to those diseases that are neglected because of their rarity from large public investment and industrial

- We want to give money to the excellent research projects and the best researchers in Italy and Trentino

- We want Trent to participate in this fight against genetic diseases

- We want to always know who helps us as we collect the money being spent

Memorandum of Understanding Body Music "Città di Trento"

This protocol provides for certain activities that the Corps Musicale "Città di Trento" intends to carry out free of charge and in a spirit of generosity for the success of the fundraising telethon in the province of Trento. The common aim is to fund scientific research for the treatment of genetic diseases.
